When ever someone points out the fact that our dramas are
now not fit to be watched with families, most people say...they are only
showing the reality, what is really happening in society.
Murders, immorality, vulgarity, corruption, all of these evils have plagued mankind since ancient times. It's nothing new and media has been dealing with these issues in a constructive way in the past. Whether it was due to the fact that government owned the only TV channel or that those people were willing to work hard to produce quality dramas, which entire families could sit together and enjoy.
I wish, the dramas today would start dealing with issues in the same manner, use dramas as tutorials to teach the society a better way of handling things. The youth particularly is easily influenced by the media. If they take responsibility and make shows that actually help the audiences in dealing with the real life issues, I am sure it will bring a healthy change.
